Integration is all too often not focused on, however it is truly the most important part of our personal work. We need to learn and practice how we can bring the insights, guidance and new energy into our lives. Without integration, any ceremonial work we have done could be pointless. 

There are many different practices and tools we can use to integrate. Everyone is going to have a very unique set of needs and support. It can be difficult and confusing to navigate our lives, especially after a cathartic experience where we have gained information about changes we need to make. Our life feels very different, we feel different in our core and we need help to learn how to relate to ourselves in this new way and how to take the steps towards the new versions of ourselves.

There is normally a process of letting go of old patterns and beliefs, letting go of relationships (people, places and things) that don’t serve our highest path. We need to bring in new vibrations, new routines and new connections. This can be a very overwhelming process to navigate because we are creatures of habit and most of the time, change is very hard. We can resist this change and sabotage our own growth. It can be very helpful to work with someone to help keep us accountable and help guide us for our highest good.

We are not always met with the support we need from loved ones. This is because the people we are close with know us for who we are and not who we are transforming into. When we change and grow, these people we need time to meet us in the new vibration. This means they have to change. Often people are not ready or even aware of the change they need and will resist this by unconsciously putting us back into the box that is comfortable to them. It can feel like we hitting against a wall as we try to make the changes we feel we need.

With expansion comes contraction. This is a natural process of nature and life. Our hearts beat in a rhythm of expanding and contrasting. When we have an experience that feel expansive there will always come a contraction. When we are not prepared for this, it can overwhelm us.

There are many tools we can learn to help navigate the contractions, this is actually an amazing opportunity for positive integrations when we are prepared with focused awareness.
